UNIVERSITY OF RIJEKA (UR), Croatia, www.uniri.hr . The modern University was founded on May 17, 1973, but the Jesuits established the first school of higher education in 1627. UR is presently comprised of 10 faculties, University Library, the Students’ Centre and International Relation Office. UR is a member of: Inter-University Centre of Post Graduate Studies, EUA, UniAdrion Network, DAAAM, MIB, CEI. The Faculty of Engineering is organised into 10 departments, 35 chair and 43 laboratories. The Faculty has broad competencies in the development of innovative products, technologies and services needed by the business. The development of the research and education portfolio has allowed UR to embark fully on the EU Lisbon strategy. UR has thus vigorously initiated the process of its integration into the ERA and EHEA.

Developing in the spirit of time and needs of Montenegro, during its existence the UP has expended from year to year. Thus, today the University has 17 faculties and 3 independent study programmes located throughout Montenegro. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering educates professionals of all levels of professional and scientific competence from engineers, through specialists and masters of science to PhDs in the field of mechanical engineering. The Faculty creates research knowledge especially in design development such as the new production solutions, analyses, attests engines for industrial elements, and offers wide range of services to enterprises.
UBUNIVERSITY OF BANJA LUKA (UBL), www.unibl.rs.sr . Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established in 1971 according to real needs for education of engineers, organization of research work and development of scientific potential in north-west area of BIH. The priority is the development of most modern laboratories: Information technologies and CIM, CAD/CAM, Flexible Manufacturing Systems, Non-conventional manufacturing methods, Robotics and Artificial intelligence, Rapid Prototyping, Computer Aided Quality and Total Quality Management. UBL will be coordinator of the project activities in BIH and will take role in promotion of the project and VMnet.
REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF SUMADIJA AND POMORAVLJE (REDASP), Serbia, www.redasp.rs . Agency provides technical and professional support in economic development of Central Serbia region, through collaboration with university, development of SME and entrepreneurship, services and trainings, support for start-up business, foundation of Business Innovation Centre etc. REDASP has successful cooperation with many EU institutions: EAR, UNOPS, USAID, UNDP, SPARK. Thanks to long term cooperation with key actors (Government of the Republic of Serbia, local authorities, Chamber of Commerce, associations of entrepreneurs, National employment agency, University, financial organisations, donors, NGOs, local media) REDASP will support all strategic and disseminating activities in the project.
SCGM (SCGM), Serbia, www.scgm.com . The company SCGM offers services of construction and production in the area of injection moulding of plastics towards the European market. Their main philosophy, as a young but prosperous company is to be on the top regarding quality and knowledge. SCGM has over 30 employees with necessary know-how for the company’s growth. SCGM will provide benchmarking examples, as well as support IFP and PPP progr. realization.

ELCON today consists of about 40 professionally trained employees, who are in every moment capable of responding to the most complex problems in the field of metal processing industry. Its basic qualities are reliability, experience in manufacturing of the complete engineering solution, quality of final products. Thanks to their capabilities and well-equipped facilities, ELCON will support IFP, PPP, and case studies.
METALIK d.o.o (METALIK), Montenegro. METALIK was founded in 1991. It has 40 employees and deals with metal processing (rolling, casting and machining). This factory possesses thirty machines for universal and special purposes. Lately, they pay attention to production of the equipment for milk industry and healthy food. Its participation in the project will enable realization of IFP and PPP, TSNA and assessment of the regional model of cooperation.
TRI BEST d.o.o (TRI BEST), Bosina and Herzegovina, www.tribestbl.com . TRI BEST is SME for sheet metal forming and different machining processing. Striving to continuous improvement of product quality, TRI BEST implies ISO 9001:2000 standard. Introducing of CE mark is in progress.
