Cooperative Training Center (CTC) Banja Luka was established on 14th July 2009, by the act of establishing CTC of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and with approval of Rector of University of Banja Luka.
CTC Banja Luka is located on Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Banja Luka. Head of CTC Banja Luka is Dr Živko Babić, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
The main goals of this CTC are:
- Education of students,
- Implementation of university-enterprise cooperation,
- Labour market needs for vocational trainings of employed and unemployed,
- and added to its activities a post graduate training programme
Also, advanced services (CAD/CAM/CAE) and R&D in area of virtual development of products and processes for regional enterprises will be performed.
CTC Banja Luka is going to be equipped with 10 PCs and projector. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Banja Luka has already got following softwares: Catia, SolidWorks, and Pro Engineer etc.
A purchase of additional software for Virtual Manufacturing technologies is being planned.
